College League Rules (Changes highlighted in red)

Matches shall be 11-up, best of five, and played according to ETTA rules.

Teams consist of three players, each person plays each member of the opposition.

Results should be emailed to dcs36 after the match - only the scoreline is required.

In the league tables, one point will be awarded for each match won. A walkover counts as 6-0.

The top teams of Division 2a and 2b will be automatically promoted, with a third team decided by a playoff. In a similar fashion, three teams from 2a and 2b will be relegated.

Games should start at 7:30 on the following evenings (unless arranged otherwise)::
Division 1 - Monday
Division 2a - Tuesday
Division 2b - Wednesday
Division 3 - Thursday

All matches should be confirmed between the two captains beforehand, and ideally with at least a day's notice.

Less Important Rules

The home team should make first contact. In the event of a match not being played, and if no contact has been made, preference for walkovers might be given to the away team.

Ideally each match shall be umpired; umpiring duties for each match shall alternate between teams.

The team designated the "home team" in the fixture list is responsible for providing 3-star table tennis balls.

A suggested order is as follows (where 1, 2, 3 and A, B, C refer to the first, second and third best players of the home and away teams respectively):
1vA, 2vB, 3vC // 2vA, 1vC,  3vB // 2vC, 3vA, 1vB.

The League Secretary will officiate over any disputes, in particular in deciding unplayed matches.
